The Embodied Black Girl Retreat, led by Thérèse Cator, was a deep privilege to be a part of.

I was fortunate enough to facilitate moments of deep connection with all participants through morning Yoga practice, a shared womb-healing ritual, and a sacred Cacao ceremony women’s circle. One of my favorite highlights was the way morning classes felt more like a gathering space to breathe, move, and explore the body than a right-or-wrong way to do a pose. I was so deeply touched to have young maidens in their 20’s to wise elders in their 70’s all moving as one breathing body.
