This retreat is a somatic journey where you connect with your body as the gateway to unlocking deeper self-awareness. Heighten your sensory awareness through ancient practices that align you with the rhythms of nature and forge your unique path to better health. Enrich your connection to Self and anchor into a deeply guided sensory experience.
A Day in RITUALS & RHTYHMS
7:30am - 8:30am : Tea, Coffee, Juice, Broth
8:30am - 9:30/9:45am : Morning Yoga Practice (dynamic flow / pranayama / meditation)
10am : Brunch (Main meal on one day will be cooked in the space for lunch, so break will be shorter that day to gather earlier)
11:30am : Free time, beach, excursions, town visit, bodywork, rest
3pm - 4:30pm : Meditation Workshop or Circle, or Ayurveda discussion w/ tea + snax
5pm - 6:30pm : Rest, bodywork, integration, ocean, downtime OR Evening Practice (yin / nidra / meditation)
7pm : Dinner + Dessert
9pm : Find your flow and wind down
THE SPACE
The retreat space has 2 yoga shalas, a cascade waterfall pool, a tennis court, bike, and surfboard rentals.
There are hammocks, chill tents, bar, a breakfast area, a reading nook, a rope suspension bed, and communal tables for connecting and hanging out.
Casa De Olas has a full restaurant and fully-stocked bar, including nonalcoholic drinks available, open from 7:00 am - 11:00 pm.

Getting There
TRANSPORT TO/FROM AIRPORT
The transportation to the retreat is an additional price and will be organized for your arrival on December 6th and departure on December 11th. This will be about $15 p/p or less, depending on whether you arrive solo or in a larger group. All arrivals before and after these dates are done on your own, but of course, reach out for help!
CLOSEST AIRPORT
Puerto Escondido ‘PXM’ 15 min away from the retreat w/ one stop in ‘MEX’, affordable flights from Chicago and Detroit. Also, Mexico City is a must-visit for a day or two if you have time! Otherwise, AA and UA are faster flights and bypass Mexico City!
LODGING
Casa De Olas offers beautiful modern air-conditioned rooms with private balconies facing the pool.
Suites are mainly double occupancy, with a handful of single rooms available on a first-come basis.

Karla is a 500hr E-RYT who trains and leads yoga teachers throughout the United States and beyond its borders.
Hatha-based, she has a relaxed and focused teaching style that encourages her students to pursue the deepest benefits that their practice can provide. Her classes are an invitation to be present with their minds while indulging in their spiritual selves as well. throughout the class as she.

Mónica is a retired ballet dancer, Clinical Ayurvedic Specialist, Panchakarma Therapist, Doula, and 200hr ERYT with a speciality in Prenatal Yoga & Womb Healing.
With a decade of experience guiding and supporting folks in awakening to their own healing power, Mónica creates bridges of connection to return home to oneself through ancient practices that are steeped in somatic literacy.
FAQs
What is the refund policy if I need to cancel my attendance?
Some exceptions apply. PLEASE reach out no later than 60 days. Spots that are able to be filled can be refunded, excluding a $250 non-refundable deposit.
What is the climate and weather like in Mexico this time of year?
Since we will be coastal expect warm and pleasant weather with temps between 70-86°F. Weeks prior to the retreat, we will send a packing guide to help you prepare for your travels and come feeling equipped to adventure!
Is there time for sightseeing or exploring during free time?
Yes! Puerto Escondido offers excellent activities, including surfing, boat tours (with whale watching options), snorkeling, kayaking through mangroves to see bioluminescent plankton at Laguna Manialtepec, and releasing baby sea turtles at places like Playa Bacocho. You can also explore local culture at the Mercado Benito Juárez, relax on the beautiful beaches like Playa Bacocho and Playa Carrizalillo
